I’m usually traveling for Christmas, which I honestly find rather stressful. This year I’ve gotten exactly what I wanted: a stress free holiday at home with the guy I love, as well as my dogs. However, I couldn’t resist picking up this amazing holiday themed dress offering from Lindy Bop anyway! At $48, the price was right and I’ve gotten lots of wear out of it throughout the month.

Lindy Bop had several great offerings in this unique Alpine Print, including this amazing Renee Twin Set. Since I wasn’t sure how curve friendly these pieces would be, I opted for the simpler Gilda version. Shirt dresses are usually a good bet when you’re curvy, while cardigan sets can be  harder to fit. I was smack between sizes (my top half was in the 16 range and my bottom half was in the 14 range) so I erred on the cautious side and ordered the 16. Now that I’ve tried it, I would have ordered the 14. While the dress fits with a belt, it’s on the larger side and I will probably have it tailored down to a slightly better fit for next year.

The colors and print on this dress are just wonderful. For me, it’s the perfect dose of holiday cheer without it feeling so literal. I’ve never been a huge fan of holiday novelty dresses, but this one feels both more subtle and more versatile. You can play up the holiday theme with red accessories like I did here, or tone it down with cream or light green colored accessories.

I honestly was shocked at how well made the dress was, especially when it comes to the comparatively low price. The dress is fully lined, well designed and supremely comfortable to wear. It’s also machine washable, which makes it a great pick for holiday parties if you are someone who tends to spill food or drinks on themselves (like me).

The border print on these pieces is really unique. There just isn’t anything else like it out there currently, which makes it a great conversation piece. The beautiful winter scene reminds me of the Alps.

This print was really popular and is currently mostly sold out, but Lindy Bop has a restock notification that you can sign up for. I also suspect there will be a fair number of returns since this dress runs large, so you can watch for those as well.

Have you tried Lindy Bop yet? What do you think of this print? More importantly, what are you wearing for your holiday occasions?

Love this dress on you and love your review. I hesitated on ordering this one because I wasn’t sure how the front gaping was going to be (I usually have that problem with front button dresses) but it looks absolutely gorgeous on you and I totally should have got it. I’m glad you were able to pick this one up before they sold out! Looks so great on you and I love it with the red obi belt!

This has to be one of the best winter/Christmas novelty prints of all time. It’s equal parts cute + chic and abounds with a sense of whimsical fun. What’s not to adore?

Wishing you a marvelously merry holiday season, dear gal!
